The space where it all begins ✨

In just a few weeks, this beautiful studio, belonging to Sarah from @sarahvassallophoto will be filled with creativity, inspiration, and the energy of photographers ready to refine their craft. This first workshop of the year is extra special—not just because of the foundation it lays for the workshops ahead, but because I’ve reshaped the way we spend our time together.

Rather than rushing through a packed schedule, I’ve slowed the pace, allowing space for deeper understanding, meaningful discussion, and hands-on learning that truly sinks in. Over two days, we’ll focus on maternity and newborn sessions first, followed by family photography, both indoors and outdoors. Each day includes editing, business insights, and product design—ensuring you leave with not just beautiful images but a renewed perspective on your work.

May will mark 16 years of doing what I love, with 14 of those spent teaching and sharing my journey with others. It’s this constant search for growth and inspiration that fuels my passion to build experiences like this workshop—where we can challenge ourselves, create, and inspire each other.

On those days when you question your work and wort $On those days when you question your work and worth as a parent, take a moment to stop worrying about what you think you haven’t done. Instead, remind yourself of everything you have. Whether it’s the early morning school drop-offs with a kiss and a wave (knowing they’ll wipe that kiss off their cheek), doing their hair just right for the day (because somehow it’s never right the first time), or involving them in sports even if it means becoming a full-time taxi driver. Listening to their worries and offering comfort (while reading the next book on “How to be a better parent”), or packing their bags with everything they’ll probably forget. Helping with homework (and pretending you remember how fractions work), making their favourite meal (which they’ll probably leave half-eaten), and dealing with the clothes that never quite make it into the laundry basket.
