Child free days are somewhat of an expense in our household, not only do we pay for them to go to day care…we also seem to have too much time on our hands to walk around shops and inevitably buy something! After our first day at the beach in a long time (lucky we live on the sunshine coast) we quickly stopped in an interesting little shop which sold a lot of asian imported products, a shop that would normally be off limits with little ones. My eye quickly fell on some hand made leather photo albums and how could I resist?! You’d think that being a photographer our house would be filled with albums, frames and photos everywhere…on the contrary, since most of the time I work on other people’s photos I often don’t take the time to work on ours. Today I did just that, worked some of my favourites taken over the last few months and had them printed, then while the girls were occupied with their artistic activities, I settled into mine.
