We had a lazy Sunday today, that is until dad had to go to work, then my Sunday became quite active! After looking through my new family album, I’ve realized that since buying my first SLR and very quickly jumping into the professional side of photography, I don’t take as many day to day photos as I once used to. That and having 3 little ones has made me realize that the best photos to look back upon aren’t the pretty posed images where everyone is smiling, but all the little things that make up our days, months, years. This also made me remember my Photo for a Day project back in January, taking the camera out every day and making sure I captured one important moment/memory throughout the day helped me get a different perspective on things and now, as much as I’d love to do this project again, time isn’t on my side, but I am going to try am capture our daily life as naturally as possible, from the sidelines.
Adria my beautiful little soul…every now and then I worry thinking she’s too quiet, she doesn’t immediately interact with all the other children and she’s always taking things slowly. Time has helped me understand that that’s who she is, a peaceful little person who loves to observes and who will surprise me with remembering little things that I have forgotten about or noticing something beyond her means. She’s such a bright little person and always smiling, today once again she surprised me by putting together a large puzzle all by herself without our guidance. She has her father’s patience and her mother’s determination and appetite….once she had finished her puzzle and we praised her efforts, she told me that a biscuit would do as a reward 😀
p.s. Mya had to get in a little of the action as well!
