The most magical and fleeting time in a parent’s life when they finally get to meet, hold and dote over their newborn. There’s a reason why parents stare idly at their infant, trying to capture the wonder and essence of this perfectly formed individual who transforms in the blink of an eye. The reason why I love to capture those quintessential elements that bring back a flood of memories: the wrinkles on their perfectly formed toes and fingers, the curl in their hair, the blister on their lips, the peace when holding so close on your chest their breathing. stillness that comes with their closed eyes.
Newborns are usually photographed in the first two weeks of life, especially to capture those constant changes you notice from one fleeting hour to the next. This being said, I have photographed many older babies of all ages, so know that there's no perfect time, there's just the right time; which is now.

I have tried for a long time to sit and write this review but the honest truth is that it is so hard to put down in words how unbelievably incredible this beautiful woman is at everything she does. From the moment you book a session and walk through the studio doors she creates a connection like no other. Anya feels like home, like that special someone that just gets you. We have had many sessions with Anya and each and every time I leave wanting more; more of that feeling of completeness that you feel when you leave after a beautiful session in front of her camera, and that’s before we have even seen the final product. I am yet to receive a gallery from Anya that hasn’t brought me to tears (tears of pure joy). The way she captures the unique beauty and character of our family is beyond belief. I am yet to find a photo I don’t adore.
All I can say is; get in your family photos, document your memories, freeze your babies for that moment in time and hold onto those images forever and please, make Anya a part of your journey. She is truly divine!
