We didn’t plan every moment. We just showed up,

We didn’t plan every moment.
We just showed up, got a little wet, laughed a lot and let the good stuff happen on its own.

It was a session that felt more like a memory being made in real time.
Sun-soaked. Unfiltered. A little wild. A lot of love.

There’s no one way to “do” family;
it’s just you, as you are, during this season of life..

Past sunset.
Still laughing, still swimming, still not ready to come in.

These are the moments I want to remember.
The wild, sandy, joy-filled ones that don’t fit inside a frame.
So we capture them. We feel them. We keep them.

What you see / What I see

You might see a peaceful photo;
soft light, gentle tones, a baby resting still.

But I see so much more.

I see the look exchanged between new parents when no one else is watching.
I see the breath a mother finally takes when someone else holds her baby for a moment.
I see the weight of love, and the beauty of becoming.

This is what newborn photography is to me.
Not perfection, but presence.

If you’re in this season and want to hold onto it forever, I have one session left for May before I travel.

Every morning, Luca has his ritual. He sits patiently by the bedroom doors, waiting for each of us to wake, one by one. With his “larger-than-he-is” puppy energy and tail wagging, he’s ready to greet us with love; even Rio, who’s always last. He’s our 2kg furry blessing in disguise, after a year of loss.

There’s no love like Luca love.

(We’re still working on the “puppy pees from excitement when you went down the road for 5 minutes to buy dessert” part.)

There’s something about sisters. The way they m

There’s something about sisters.

The way they move together without needing to speak.
How one glance can hold a whole history.
The softness. The strength.

These two were a reminder of how much there is to hold onto—even after the early milestones.
Because family doesn’t pause after the first steps or birthdays.
It grows. It shifts.
It deepens.

And the older children get, the more these photos matter. Not just to remember how they looked, but to remember how it felt.

This is why I keep photographing families long past the baby years.
Because these years are something too.
And they’re worth holding on to.
