More often than not you’ll hear me say something about how hard it is to combine working at home with living at home, trying to divide personal time with work time and although it’s rewarding being with the little ones nearly ALL the time, I find not being able to sign off and walk out the door takes a lot more dedication. Lucky I love what I do!
Why am I telling you this?? Well today I finally go away for a weekend (on my own), it’s obviously work related and I’m ecstatic to be attending the AIPP HOTD, to hear some of Australia’s (and others) best photographers teach and inspire others. There’s so many and I’m so excited I’ll probably forget half of them….the talented Jasmine Star, the amazing Alyda and Todd Hunter McGaw, the inspirational Dan O’Day and a very long list of others, whom I am waiting to meet. To say I feel like a fish out of water is the least…but I’m going to embrace this time away from the kids and take it ALL in, it goes without saying that I’m going to miss them like crazy and somehow wish I was home??!
ps in their defence, they had just gotten out of bed 😉
