I have about two weeks before travel begins again.

And then, the slow journey home.
After that… the year moves fast.

So if you’ve been thinking about it~whether it’s learning with me, being photographed, or simply reaching out~this is the time.

The morning light here has a memory of its own.
It falls just as it always has;
on curtains that haven’t changed,
on the hallway where we’ve all grown older,
on the walls that hold our summers.

There’s a kind of quiet you only find
in familiar rooms.
Strawberries fresh from the garden.
Sleepy conversations on old couches.
The reflection of motherhood,
seen through glass.

Not much happens in these photos.
And yet, everything does.

Just the kind of stillness
that reminds you of what matters.
That brings you home
no matter where you are.

The film photos from Paris are back… and it’s

The film photos from Paris are back… and it’s love.

Yes, the visuals are special, but more than anything, it’s what they represent: a moment in time I got to create with, and for, my daughter.

A moment of saying yes - not because it was earned, or deserved through hardship - but because sometimes, joy alone is reason enough. I’m wired to believe everything has to come the hard way, and I’m still learning that suffering isn’t a prerequisite for receiving something meaningful.

When Adria first asked to go, my gut reaction was “no way.” It felt too big, too much.

But once I sat with it, looked at the logistics, and asked myself what I really wanted to give her for her 18th - something that meant something - this felt like the perfect way to celebrate.

We share our birthdays. She’s the one who made me a mum. And I hope this becomes a core memory that stays with her, anchoring her in whatever life brings.
