And perhaps I won’t ever have the right words, just an overwhelming sense of gratitude.
Anya opened her heart, and taught from the trenches of her soul – the most profound and powerful education I have ever been privileged to be a part of.
I was proud to be able to grow on my journey, knowing that fate led me here at this moment in time after a postponement last year. Knowing in my heart that this was exactly where I was meant to be.
Anya ignited a fire in my soul, to be the person I am, to be proud of that person and to in every single session be that person, shoot art from within, harness the power of your vulnerabilities and turn them into more powerful imagery.
Words simply don’t do this experience justice.
My hearts been cracked open, the foundations for growth laid, my purpose brought back to life. I am ready to change, to be better, to pure and simply make art for me again. To show up wholeheartedly.
I’ll walk forward with new energy; new mindfulness, new presence after witnessing her magic, after witnessing her perfection in effortlessness & her calm even in the chaos.
Thank you will simply never be enough for such a life changing day in time. My souls enriched, my body recharged. I am ready to make art from within, go back to what lights a fire in my soul and even shoot more film.
Thank you Anya for showing me your ways, for being the most humble, genuine and beautiful soul, for teaching me mindfulness & showing me how to be present. I’ll take these values and cherish them forever.
So here’s to more creative sessions that light a fire in my belly, to vintage denim in abundance and picking up my beloved 1970’s film camera on the regular – loading it with my favourite film and creating from within.
At the end of the day, my magic comes from within, and that’s a pretty beautiful place to be. 💛
